He studies in Paris at the Ecole du Louvre and at the Ecole Nationale supérieure des Arts Décoratifs. He becomes massier, master teaching assistant at the Atelier Jaulmes and, there, learns the "L'Art Décoratif" the true art in which you don't decorate a surface or add an ornament but perfectly integrate an object's decorative aspect by its design, shape and color. These principles will be scrupulously respected in his paintings, on a surface offered by the format of the canvas. He receives six first medals, the "Prix Schoerrer" and his art teacher's diploma.
In 1932, he gets married and is appointed Art teacher at the Mariette secondary school and the "Ecole des Beaux-Arts" in Boulogne-sur-Mer. Then comes the birth of the. Twins girls , one brunette, one blonde who soon appear in his paintings.
